Support and Empower as a KS3 SEN Nurture Teacher – Slough
GSL Education is currently seeking a number of compassionate and dedicated KS3 SEN Nurture Teachers to join one of our specialist partner schools in Slough. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of young learners with additional needs in a nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS3 students with SEN, including SEMH and ASD
Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with SENCOs, TAs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans
Support students’ emotional development alongside academic progress
Adapt teaching strategies based on students' individual needs and progress
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience in a nurture or SEN setting
Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs in young learners
A patient, empathetic, and relationship-driven approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
