About the Role :
As an English Expert with PET-Xi, you'll be part of a highly enthusiastic team delivering motivational, intensive GCSE English AND Maths programmes to young learners who need extra support.
Working alongside a Classroom Lead, you'll bring lessons to life using our pre-designed, engaging resources, ensuring students make rapid and confident progress.
This role is self-employed, with regular work available across the UK. Travel and occasional overnight stays may be required.
What You'll Do :
* Deliver engaging, high-energy English and Maths sessions using PET-Xi's proven methods and resources
* Motivate and inspire young learners to achieve defined learning outcomes
* Adapt teaching style to suit individual learning needs and group dynamics
* Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with your Classroom Lead and wider team
* Mark assessments quickly and accurately
* Use Microsoft Office confidently for basic tasks and reporting
Experience & Skills:
* Experience engaging and supporting young people
* Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
* Ability to adapt teaching methods at pace
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary
* Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Team-focused, reliable, and high-energy with a 'can-do' attitude
* Comfortable working to deadlines
