Job Responsibilities: As a College Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with Capita College Group to provide vital support to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one and group support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and mental health conditions.
* Collaborating with Capita College Group teaching staff to identify individual student needs and develop appropriate support plans.
* Assisting students in developing effective study skills, time management techniques, and organizational strategies.
* Supporting students during examinations and assessments, ensuring accommodations are implemented as required.
* Monitoring and recording student progress, providing regular feedback to students and relevant staff members.
* Promoting independent learning and self-advocacy skills among students.
* Fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, aligned with the values of Protocol Education and Capita College Group.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities, preferably in an educational setting or an interest to do so.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students.
* A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, in alignment with the values of Protocol Education and Capital College Group.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
