Store Manager role at Holland & Barrett – permanent position located at Serpentine Green, Peterborough. 38.75 hours per week. Salary up to £32,700 per annum DOE, with 25% colleague discount and 28 days annual leave pro rata.
The Job
Are you passionate about customer service? Keen to continue your career with the largest UK Health and Wellness retailer? As our Retail Store Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of the store and act as a brand ambassador for Holland & Barrett. You will build a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, training, motivating, and setting clear expectations. Supported by your Regional Manager, you will model world-class customer service, drive financial performance with sales targets, maintain stock accuracy, set up store promotional plans, and ensure full compliance with health and safety. You will begin a training programme that includes our Qualified to Advise and Healthy Expert qualifications, accredited by our awarding body to Level 2 and Level 3.
Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day store operations and act as a brand ambassador
* Recruit, coach, train, motivate, and manage the store team
* Deliver world-class customer service and achieve sales targets
* Maintain stock accuracy and implement promotional plans
* Ensure health and safety compliance
Requirements
* Previous retail management experience
* Excellent communication and people-management skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
* Ability to understand and analyse daily sales figures to trade within company parameters and goals
* Passion and enthusiasm for our products
* Ability to complete regular computer-based training to ensure exceptional product knowledge
* Ability to be agile and flexible to multi-task and achieve the best results
