A well-established creative organisation is looking to bring in a People & Culture Advisor to support its growing team. This is a hands-on HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, where you’ll play an important part in guiding managers through day-to-day people challenges and more complex casework. You’ll be stepping into a position where you’re trusted to manage your own workload, provide clear and practical advice, and help maintain a positive and compliant working environment across the business. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR duties with more advisory-based support.
🔹 Your Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports to support compliance and decision making
✔ Provide HR guidance to managers and employees, acting as a go-to for day-to-day people queries
✔ Review and refine internal policies to ensure they remain up to date and aligned with current legislation
✔ Support onboarding, training, and wider people-focused activities
✔ Take the lead on employee relations matters, overseeing cases through to resolution
✔ Assist with wider HR initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience
✔ Support managers in handling performance, absence, and conduct-related issues confidently and fairly
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✔ Clear and professional communication style with a practical mindset
✔ Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload with minimal supervision
✔ Experience working in a generalist HR role at Advisor level
✔ Comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders across different teams
✔ Strong understanding of employee relations processes and confidence managing cases independently
✔ Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
✔ High level of organisation and strong attention to detail
✔ Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle within a business environment
✔ CIPD qualification or similar
✔ Background in arts, culture, or not-for-profit environments
