A well-established creative organisation is looking to bring in a People & Culture Advisor to support its growing team. This is a hands-on HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, where you’ll play an important part in guiding managers through day-to-day people challenges and more complex casework. You’ll be stepping into a position where you’re trusted to manage your own workload, provide clear and practical advice, and help maintain a positive and compliant working environment across the business. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR duties with more advisory-based support.

🔹 Your Responsibilities:

✔ Review and refine internal policies to ensure they remain up to date and aligned with current legislation

✔ Support onboarding, training, and wider people-focused activities

✔ Take the lead on employee relations matters, overseeing cases through to resolution

✔ Assist with wider HR initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience

✔ Support managers in handling performance, absence, and conduct-related issues confidently and fairly

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

✔ Clear and professional communication style with a practical mindset

✔ Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload with minimal supervision

✔ Experience working in a generalist HR role at Advisor level

✔ Comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders across different teams

✔ Strong understanding of employee relations processes and confidence managing cases independently

✔ Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law

✔ High level of organisation and strong attention to detail

✔ Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle within a business environment

✔ CIPD qualification or similar

✔ Background in arts, culture, or not-for-profit environments

✅ Well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with managers, and being involved in a wide range of HR activity in a collaborative setting
