Talentmark are recruiting for a Medical Operations Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 6-months.
Salary:
Paying £31.87 per hour PAYE
Medical Operations Manager Role:
Lead end-to-end delivery of compassionate supply programmes, including Early Access to Medicines Schemes (EAMS) and Individual Patient Supply Requests (IPSR)
Manage operational execution to ensure timely, compliant supply aligned with local and global SOPs
Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Supply, Clinical Operations, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery
Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiencies across Medical Affairs
Own and track key operational KPIs such as turnaround times, audit readiness, and right-first-time delivery
Lead updates to SOPs, working instructions, templates, and training materials
Support and lead audits impacting Medical Affairs and wider governance activities
Produce monthly metrics, quarterly updates, and annual medical reports
Support rollout of operational initiatives across the UK/IE Medical teamYour Background:
Proven experience within Medical Operations in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills within matrix environments
Experience supporting or leading patient access programmes or operational initiatives
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience with systems such as Veeva, SAP, Concur, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools
Degree-level education preferred, with a scientific background advantageous
Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice desirableCompany:
