About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help us make a difference for our customers on every visit by providing the Partner-led service and passion for food that sets us apart. Your drive to go the extra mile will enhance the customer experience and foster loyalty to the Waitrose brand.
This is a temporary role primarily based at our Welcome Desk.
Key Responsibilities
* Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
* Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
* Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns.
* Supporting the shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
* Maintaining a safe and tidy environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
Essential skills/experience
* Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
Desirable skills/experience
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Interest and knowledge in food and drink trends.
* Flexible approach to support the branch as needed.
