Job Description
You will be responsible for a portfolio of Real Estate Fund clients and will work as part of a team to meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include the following:
* Acting as the main liaison and point of contact for certain clients.
* Be an important link between management and junior staff, responsible for and knowledgeable about the quality of the work carried out for the client.
* Mentor junior staff and review work produced for submission to senior level staff.
* As a Senior Officer, attend training to learn new skills and enhance current abilities.
* Play an active role in the setup of Real Estate Funds and liaise with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries as part of setting up funds.
* Contribute to day-to-day operations of the funds and follow up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
* Collaborate with fund accountants in the preparation of periodic and regulatory reports for the fund’s entities.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and complete all statutory filings and FATCA/CRS requirements for client entities.
* Coordinate investor servicing, including investor CDD and onboarding, capital calls, distributions and issuance of shareholder/capital statements.
* Organise and participate in board meetings and shareholders' meetings.
* Handle client transactions with support from the Engagement Manager.
* Assist with various business projects as necessary.
* Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
Your Profile
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in funds administration, corporate services or real estate.
* Adaptable approach to using appropriate software and systems.
* Team spirit, ability to build strong client relationships and take initiative without waiting for direction when appropriate.
