Salary: £47,939 – £52,165 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (36 hours per week)

Our College is seeking a dynamic Section Manager for Travel and Tourism to oversee curriculum delivery, staff development, and student achievement within this exciting vocational area.
About the Role
As Section Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of the Travel and Tourism department, ensuring exceptional teaching, learning, and student outcomes. You’ll lead a team of committed lecturers, manage quality assurance processes, and work closely with senior management to maintain and enhance the department’s strong performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing staff to deliver high-quality programmes.
2. Supporting curriculum development that meets industry and employer needs.
3. Monitoring student progress, achievement, and retention.
4. Driving innovation in teaching and learning strategies.
5. Managing budgets and resources effectively.
About You
You’ll be an inspiring leader with a passion for vocational education and a strong understanding of the travel and tourism sector. With proven leadership or course management experience in further education, you’ll bring strong organisational skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to motivate both staff and students.
You should have:
6. A relevant degree or equivalent vocational qualification.
7. A recognised teaching qualification.
8. Experience in curriculum management and team leadership.
9. A track record of driving quality improvements and outstanding student experiences.
