Social Worker - Assessment, Stockton-on-Tees
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is offering an exciting opportunity for qualified social workers to join our Assessment Teams. Role Responsibilities:
* Provide short-term help and support to families in a fast-paced environment
* Assess concerns regarding child or young person's safety or wellbeing
* Identify risks and protective factors within families
* Decide on the most appropriate support measures
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant social work qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* Compassion and understanding of children and families' needs
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and practices
* Excellent communication skills
