Description About the Role… Be the leader who keeps our numbers – and our team – on track. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Team Leader to take the reins of our high-performing finance team. In this role, you’ll lead from the front—coaching, mentoring, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our accounts payable process across multiple entities. Lead, coach, and onboard accounts payable team members for peak performance. Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes—from invoice receipt to payment. Oversee reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany postings. Monitor bank balances, process weekly payments, and maintain aged payables reports. Ensure debtor invoicing, credit control, and credit card processing are timely and accurate. Drive process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies within the department. Provide timely reporting and support to the Finance Manager and Management Accountants. This is a permanent full time position based at our Southport Head Office. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Excel and medium-sized business accounting software. A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change. Business or Finance qualification (preferred, not essential).
