We are looking for an experienced, proactive Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our busy Pitstone, Buckinghamshire facility. This is a full-time, hands-on management role (Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00) overseeing the warehouse and supporting wider operational activity across the business.
Key Responsibilities
As Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of the warehouse, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and smoothly. Responsibilities include:
Leading the organisation, cleanliness and day-to-day operations of the warehouse
Managing goods in and out, checking deliveries and coordinating dispatches
Overseeing inventory control and maintaining accurate stock records
Ordering supplies and equipment as needed
Preparing vehicles, equipment and stock for upcoming projects
Supervising loading/unloading and ensuring safe manual handling
Overseeing refurbishment processes for stock (training provided)
Managing routine checks and maintenance schedules for company vehicles
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental policies
Coordinating occasional collections and deliveries with company vehicles
Supporting onsite operations and the wider team as needed
Assisting office teams with vehicle rotation and waste planning
About You
You will be a confident, hands-on leader who can take ownership and keep the warehouse running like clockwork. You should be:
Highly organised, reliable and proactive
Experienced in warehouse, logistics or operations management (essential)
Comfortable with hands-on work and manual handling
Confident working independently and making decisions
A qualified forklift operator (preferred; training can be provided)
Holder of a valid driving licence (Cat B; Cat C advantageous)
A strong communicator with good problem-solving skills
