Technical Manager £48,000 GBP Onsite WORKING Location: United Kingdom (Greater London - Bracknell) Type: Permanent Technical Manager Location - Bracknell Salary - Up to £48,000 Clearance - Active SC Clearance is required for this role On-site Requirements - 5 days per week The Opportunity: We're looking for a Technical Manager to join our on-site team in Bracknell. This is a key leadership role managing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Line Support Technicians, ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers across the UK. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong IT support background and a passion for coaching others. You'll be empowered to shape processes, influence service improvements, and expand your own technical and leadership expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day operations of the Service Desk, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and requests. • Define and track SLAs and KPIs to uphold high-quality support standards. • Develop clear documentation and processes to enhance team efficiency. • Design automation workflows to streamline service delivery using tools like Microsoft SCSM. • Oversee team performance, recruitment, and staff development activities. • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and manage escalations. • Participate in Change and Release Management processes and act as a CAB member. • Monitor patch management, software deployments, and reporting using SCOM, SQL, ePo, and Excel.
