We currently have a great opportunity to join Openfield as Seed Production Operator on a full-time basis based in Colsterworth.
The role will involve operating the Intakes and Seed Cleaning Lines, ensuring the product meets pre-determined quality standards. Operating the seed treatment lines, Packing and Loading of the treated seeds, some plant maintenance and repairs. Full training will be provided across all aspects of seed processing, treating, storage, packing and despatch.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Good understanding of machinery with engineering experience preferred, but not essential.
* Familiar with Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Fault finding/resolution and planning
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills
* A Positive work ethic.
* Able to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in the role, in line with the fluctuating demands of our seasonal business.
* Proficient computer skills
* A counterbalance forklift truck licence would be desirable.(Training can be provided)
* PA1 and PA11 chemical pesticide knowledge (Training can be provided)
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
