About us
We offer Short Breaks service for children with disabilities in variouse sites around Lancashire and Blackpool. There are weekend, after school and school holiday groups available and is for any child or young person with SEND aged 4-18. We also offer individual packages of care within a group setting from our base in Lostock Hall enabling children and young people aged from 4-18 to access a range of activities and develop skills including social communication and understanding. The service also operates an Advocacy service for young people in care for the Blackburn with Darwen Local Authorities.
About the role
The job role is an administrator in a busy service and the role will include:
1. Working across Include Me 2 Service
2. Supporting the adminstration team with financial tasks
3. Monitor building maintenance and ensure that all checks are completed in a timely fashion
4. Support the team to complete H&S returns and a GDPR audit to evidence compliance with requirements
5. Maintaining a petty cash account
6. Supporting with reports for quarterly and annual reports
7. Buying and keeping track of supplies for the services
8. Administrative support to Managers and project staff
The post will involve supporting the administration teamfor the financial aspects of the service, including assisting with the monitoring of income and expenditure on an ongoing basis alongside a manager, so a basic understanding of finances is essential.
About you
Ideal Candidate's must haves:
9. Administration experience
10. Organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
11. Proven substantial experience of using IT packages including word processing, spread sheets, databases, Windows applications.
12. Experience of minute taking
13. Experience of operating financial systems including petty cash, budget monitoring and oversight.
14. Ability to work as part of a team and/or using own initiative.
