The role:
With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Commercial Manager will:
·Recognise new business opportunities and design bids to win new business.
·Negotiate and agree on contracts.
·Have full oversight of project financial management, take ownership of budgets and control costs across large scale projects.
·Be strategically minded – driving and improving standards across the business.
The person:
·Minimum 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience with on-site and management experience.
·5 years minimum commercial experience in the electrical industry.
·Proven contractual awareness and how to implement commercial management T&Cs.
·Driven, customer centric, highly motivated and adept in winning new business.
·MS Office proficient with a particular focus on Excel.
·Able to handle pressure, multiple clients, contracts, methods of measurement.
·A proficient problem solver – able to anticipate and eliminate problems early.
·Full driving licence and car for business purposes.
