Job Description:
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee resources involved in the repair and maintenance of the wastewater network across designated areas for our client. Responsibilities include supervising operational support to resolve issues such as leaks, water quality problems, burst mains, and installation activities. You will ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and meets client expectations, with a focus on health and safety and customer service, including improving the C-MeX customer satisfaction measure.
You will coordinate with the scheduling team to ensure timely delivery of repair and maintenance work and communicate with affected customers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise water repair and maintenance teams and their daily activities.
* Organize labor efficiently, including recruitment, wages, and absence management.
* Manage resources such as materials and equipment.
* Ensure accurate documentation of work performed, including photos and asset details.
* Visit local sites regularly to review progress and enforce standards.
* Conduct team briefings and coaching sessions monthly.
* Perform team inspections focusing on quality and compliance.
* Act as Health & Safety Representative, conducting workplace inspections and investigating incidents.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications, e.g., NRWSA supervisory level.
* Health & Safety qualification (advantage).
* Utilities industry experience.
* Supervisor Street Works qualification.
* Knowledge of deep excavation.
* Strong communication and management skills.
* Financial and commercial awareness.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* First Aid at Work, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling certifications.
