Job Title: Framework & Supplier Performance Manager Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP) Service Area: Commercial & Supply Chain Hours of Work: 37 Per week What You’ll be doing: The Framework & Supplier Performance Manager is responsible for leading the governance, performance management, and strategic development of the KBS Multi-Discipline Supplier Framework, of which includes; the evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement of both the Framework and the broader supply chain performance. This role resides within the Commercial Directorate and reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain To ensure the Framework remains compliant, competitive, fit-for-purpose and aligned to the business requirements and future ambition, the role of Framework & Supplier Performance Manager focuses on enabling efficient procurement and supplier engagement across KBS programmes through the use of the Framework. This role will lead on the strategic development of supplier performance management, including the evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Supplier Performance across KBS Maritime. The role also supports supplier onboarding, supplier compliance, manages performance remediation, and coordinates events to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement. You’ll Have: Ideally, you’ll be able to evidence experience in supplier and contract management within regulated procurement environments, have strong understanding of public sector frameworks and Procurement Act compliance and have proven ability to manage supplier relationships and performance. We’re looking for a candidate with proven experience in organising stakeholder events and workshops that foster engagement and alignment across diverse groups. Also, strong analytical skills are essential to interpret usage data and translate insights into strategic, actionable decisions as the role demands excellent communication and negotiation abilities, alongside a solid understanding of procurement systems and supplier portals. Equally important is a track record in people management and a commitment to developing team capabilities to meet evolving organisational needs. You’ll also understand how to strike the right balance between strategic thinking and practical delivery, adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
