Interim Payroll and Finance Assistant – Scunthorpe – Up to £28,000FTE
We are proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe who are looking for an experienced Payroll and Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for a 9-12 month contract. You will be responsible for the weekly payroll and maintaining relationships both internally and externally. The role is 30 hours a week

Payroll and Finance Assistant duties include:
Weekly payroll processing for 100 employees through people HR and Access workspace
New weekly employee onboarding and processing any leavers
Cover all the HR admin and keep all employee records up to date
Cover the HR mailbox and answer any queries
Purchase ledger invoice processing
Processing euro invoices in line with HMRC guidelines for all sites
General admin tasks and cover for other accounts duties
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Accurate and strong attention to detail
Highly organised with excellent time management
