Session Format: In-person tuition
The Opportunity
You will work with children and teenagers who may be out of mainstream education or require additional support due to SEND needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties, or anxiety.
By delivering tailored learning sessions, you will help students rebuild confidence, improve engagement, and make meaningful educational progress.
Main Duties
* Provide individual tuition sessions tailored to learner needs
* Plan engaging activities that encourage participation and growth
* Support learners in developing independence and resilience
* Adapt lesson delivery to suit different abilities and challenges
* Maintain accurate session records and progress updates
* Build positive relationships with families and support teams
* Travel locally to deliver sessions in homes or community settings
We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting children or young people preferred
* Applicants from education, mentoring, care, tutoring, or youth support backgrounds encouraged
* Calm, adaptable, and nurturing personality
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Understanding of safeguarding expectations
* Ability to travel within the Whiteley area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
