We are looking for a qualified NVQ Level 2 Platform / Micro‑lift Installer to join our Platform and Micro‑lifts division as a Lead Lift Installer. The role will be based in the North of Manchester, Leeds, Bradford or Birmingham and surrounding areas, with travel throughout the UK expected.
Job Responsibilities
* Install and commission lifts in line with company standards.
* Conduct site safety checks and risk assessments, liaising with site agents.
* Assist with unloading and installing lift components, including erection of structures, wiring, and fitting doors.
* Complete necessary documentation and handovers, ensuring all work is finished to a high standard.
* Carry out basic electrical fault‑finding, testing, and commissioning of lifts.
* Train fitter’s mates and trainee installers on‑site.
Qualifications
* Proven experience installing platform lifts or similar products.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Supervisory skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
* Willingness to train and mentor junior team members.
* Flexibility with working hours and location.
* NVQ Level 2 in Installations.
