You don’t need QTS for this one, just confidence in your subject, strong communication, and the kind of presence that helps pupils stay focused and curious.
What you’ll be doing
1. Delivering pre-planned Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
2. Supporting pupils with classwork and building their understanding
3. Creating a calm, positive atmosphere where students feel safe to learn
4. Working closely with the department to keep lessons running smoothly
5. Bringing your own spark and personal interests into the subject

6. A genuine interest in Humanities subjects
7. Someone confident leading a classroom, even without QTS
8. Patience, resilience and a good sense of humour
9. Experience with young people is great, but not essential
10. A willingness to learn and grow
