About the Role
We are looking for people who are passionate and committed to working with children who can:
* work flexibly to meet the needs of children, families and victims
* undertake complex assessments of the needs of children and families
* be responsible for developing their practice and undertake and implement learning
* listen to and act upon children’s voice to strive for the best outcomes

About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
* You are able to build positive relationships with young people aged 11–19, engaging them in a respectful, consistent, and approachable way while supporting them to participate in digital and social media activities, including capturing and creating content.
* You are confident supporting the planning, setup, and delivery of sessions that include digital youth work, creative media projects, and social media related activities.
* You have the ability to ensure all young people feel welcome, included, and supported regardless of background or ability.
* You are able to follow & understand safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly and appropriately. Awareness of issues affecting young people.
* You are able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, promoting social media across the service and working with staff to gather ideas and create engaging content that supports the wider youth‑work offer.
* You are dependable, punctual, and proactive in supporting youth work delivery and confidently contribute & participate in supervision, training and team reflection to improve practice.
In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and to delivering accessible and inclusive services which meet the needs of all of our residents. You will be asked to demonstrate your understanding of these commitments as part of the selection process.
