The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK’s & Ireland’s Building Services sector. Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.
What We Do:
We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
Team Overview:
The Services & Maintenance team provides ongoing support and upkeep for installed mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and longevity. They deliver scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs, working closely with clients to minimise downtime and extend asset life. This department plays a vital role in sustaining customer satisfaction and protecting the long-term value of our solutions.
Role Overview:
The role entails working closely with the Service and Maintenance Manager and wider office and site based engineering team to smoothly deliver administrative aspects of current and future contracts to our client base. Internally the candidate will collate data from the various activities of the team with a view to providing weekly and monthly reports to track our contractual and procedural KPIs.

Hours | 38 Hrs per week: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm. (Potential flexibility within this for right candidate).
Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience
Responsible to | Service and Maintenance Manager
What You'll Be Doing:
* Work with the Service and Maintenance manager to schedule planned remedial and reactive works.
* Monitor and track the status of ongoing jobs, ensuring that deadlines are met and client expectations are managed
* Check engineer’s completed service reports on a daily basis, ensure they are completed correctly and submitted to clients promptly.
* Generate Quotations and Invoices from completed service reports and issue to respective clients.
* Generate weekly & monthly performance reports.
* General administrative duties.
* Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.
What You Need to Have
* Previous experience in a relevant job role.
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in the use of Excel
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & Outlook.
* Good customer relations skills and telephone manner.
* Logical and sensible approach to daily tasks.
* Ability to work to deadlines and cope with a varied portfolio of work.
* Good interpersonal Skills.
* The ability to process a large volume of information timely and accurately.
* Flexible and practical approach to daily tasks.
* Ability to cope with reactive nature of the role.
What You Would Ideally Have:
* Experience in Power Bi Software
* Familiarity with use of an accountancy system. e.g. Excel, Sage.
* Experience in use of a C.R.M. (Customer Relationship Management) software in a previous role.
* Previous experience in data collation and presentation
