Internal Sales Team Leader required for our successful manufacturing client based in Wednesbury. We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales Team Leader to lead the internal sales team, including customer service, telemarketing and design/quotes, delivering industry benchmark levels of customer support, by way of effective supervision and leadership, together with the development, implementation and management of applicable systems, procedures, policies and KPI’s. Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Director and direct line management of a small team consisting of Customer Service, Technical & Design/Quote you will ensure that departmental objectives are aligned to the business’ strategic plan. This is a hands on internal sales role including direct telemarketing to existing clients and developing potential new business opportunities via sales CRM system. Main Duties & Responsibilities: The efficient planning and execution of tasks and associated administration, together with sales order processing, customer order confirmations, spares enquiries, system designs and quotation generation, all within agreed and reportable timescales. In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, develop, plan and execute telemarketing campaigns to raise awareness of the Company brand, build relationships with target audiences and to ultimately grow the sales of products, accessories and spares. Generate sales and performance reports covering daily, weekly and monthly periods. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the relevant teams, increasing effectiveness and efficiency by driving continual process improvements, to achieve business goals and to maximise customer satisfaction. Effective planning ensuring appropriate levels of resource are available to maintain required levels of service. Identify and facilitating the team’s and individuals training needs. Work closely with operations and finance to ensure customer expectations are met. To create and sustain a positive departmental environment, displaying high levels of motivation and team spirit. Complaint and conflict management and resolution. Skills & Experience required: At least 5 years’ experience within an Internal Sales, Telemarketing or customer sales & services function, preferably with previous management/supervisory experience. Working Hours: Days, 37.5 Hours Monday to Friday, Flexible start & finish times Salary Guide. OTE C£35k TO £45K including generous basic, plus commission scheme
