Mechanical Site Manager – School Project (New Build / Light Refurb)
Location: Billingham / Durham
Start Date: 18 May (or earlier if available)
Contract Length: Approx 6 months
Rate: Daily rate (negotiable)
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee a school project comprising a new build with a small element of refurbishment.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of mechanical works on site
* Coordination of subcontractors and labour
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to spec
* Attending site meetings and liaising with the main contractor
* Managing RAMS, quality checks, and handover requirements
Requirements:
* Strong background in mechanical building services
* Previous experience delivering education projects preferred
* SMSTS / SSSTS (SMSTS ideal)
* First Aid & CSCS
* Able to start by mid-May or sooner
