Operations Support Executive Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Location: Knaresborough Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week) Full-time, Permanent position Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for the motor industry? We are seeking an Operations Support Executive to join our client's Asset Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting leasing and finance operations while ensuring compliance and excellent customer service. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the Asset Management department, providing administrative support and helping to improve operational efficiency. You'll act as a key liaison between customers, sales teams, and lenders, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities of the Operations Support Executive: Prepare, review, and process lease agreements and related documentation. Liaise with lenders and finance companies to coordinate approvals and funding. Collect, verify, and file required documents (e.g. invoices, finance applications, insurance, ID). Communicate with customers regarding lease application status and documentation needs. Track pending deals and support timely funding. Prepare reports on leasing activity and outstanding documentation. Collaborate with sales, customer service, logistics, and finance teams. Respond to internal and external queries professionally and promptly. Support end-to-end processing of vehicle sales, finance, and leasing transactions. Monitor deal progress and escalate delays or issues. Maintain accurate records of operational activities and procedures. Assist in scheduling vehicle deliveries and inspections. Update vehicle inventory records and stock management systems. Prepare customer files and compliance documentation for audits. Deliver high levels of customer service through timely communication and follow-up. Key Requirements of the Operations Support Executive: 1-3 years of administrative experience, ideally in automotive, finance, or leasing. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills. Familiarity with lending or credit customer processes is a strong asset. Experience in motor trade administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM and leasing software experience is a plus. Familiarity with DVLA systems, V5C registration, and vehicle taxation procedures. Knowledge of lending guidelines and leasing compliance.
