Mobile catering supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber region
* 6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs

Job Introduction
As a Mobile Catering Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee catering operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) approximately 25 sites within the Yorkshire and Humber region. You'll be responsible for supervising teams across several sites, ensuring high standards of service and hygiene are maintained to create safe, welcoming environments.
This role involves regular interaction with both your catering teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will directly support the well-being of those living and working within these premises.
Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position provides valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
What you’ll do:
* Ensure completion of all requested/contracted catering tasks and motivate your team to complete these effectively and on time.
* You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team with scheduled catering tasks.
* You'll be given significant responsibility to ensure tasks are carried out within specified timescales.
* Use your initiative to review the impact of your team’s work on your site, and lead your team to ensure positive feedback from clients.
* Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as food, catering supplies, and appliances, maintaining records for compliance.
* Promote health and safety practices—report near misses to ensure colleagues’ safety!
* Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards.
* Hold frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.
What you bring:
* Full UK driving license
* Previous experience in a similar catering supervisory role, with knowledge of catering solutions and team leadership experience desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
* Team player and able to follow instructions
