A well-established and growing property development and planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their expanding team in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional to work on a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use development projects across the South East.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation
* Provide clear and commercially focused planning advice to clients
* Manage planning projects from early feasibility through to determination
* Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
* Undertake site appraisals and planning research
* Assist with planning strategies for residential and mixed-use developments
* Monitor planning policy and legislative changes
About You
* Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
* Working towards or already MRTPI qualified (or equivalent)
* Previous experience within a planning consultancy, developer, or local authority
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* A proactive and commercially minded approach
