As a Waking Night Care Worker, you will provide consistent overnight support, ensuring each child’s safety, well‑being, and comfort in line with our policies and procedures. You’ll help maintain a secure, nurturing environment while responding to individual needs and promoting a sense of stability throughout the night.
What you’ll do
* Provide awake‑night supervision, ensuring the home remains safe and calm
* Work with the team to offer emotional and practical support
* Complete regular safety and security checks and ensure all children/young people are accounted for
* Support bedtime routines and help children/young people settle for the night
* Assist children/young people in the morning with waking and getting ready
* Create a supportive environment where every child/young person feels valued and listened to
