Post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in order to ensure care is appropriate, customer specific and delivered in a timely manner. The post holder will be able to demonstrate their professional skills and competence in care planning/care delivery, co-ordination, medicines management, leadership.
The post holder will act as shift lead of the nursing team on the ward in support of the Ward Manager taking first line management responsibility for the environment and the staff working with them.
Main duties of the job
A Registered Nurse in a neuro-rehabilitation ward works within a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised care for patients with neurological conditions. Key duties include clinical assessments, medication administration, care planning, and documentation. RN collaborate with therapists and medical staff, support junior colleagues, and advocate for patient wellbeing. RN will also uphold safety standards, contribute to discharge planning, and may take charge of the ward when needed.
