Job description:
Electrician required for a highly regarded regional developer. ITS Building people are looking for a Electrician to assist our client with a project based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Own transport is essential for this position.l
This contract will start as a 12 week temporary contract through ITS with then end goal to go permanent with the company after, with hours being 40 a week Monday-Friday and there may be an option to work overtime on the weekends at a higher rate.
Additional training and a full-time contract may be provided for the right candidates.
Daily responsibilities will include:
-Electrical repairs, installations, Servicing, inspections and testings to housing properties; which will be occupied and non-occupied.
-Electrical works in occupied and non-occupied housing including bathrooms, kitchen works, and a full property rewire.
Requirements for the role
* Drivers Licence
* Own PPE ( Hard hat, Hi-Vis, Safety Shoes)
* Qualifications to include City & Guilds 2391, City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or 2351 or 2330 levels 2 and 3 or approved equivalent or NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or approved equivalent.
* Demonstrates practical knowledge and competence working as an electrician in the current edition of BS:7671 and inspection, testing and commissioning of installations
* City & Guilds 2394 or 2395 in initial verification, certification, periodic inspection & testing of electrical installations or approved equivalent (Desirable)
