Role and Programme
This fixed-term appointment is part of BRITE (Biologics Regional Innovation and Technology Ecosystem), a £5m cross-sector partnership led by LSTM with the University of Liverpool, LJMU, Edge Hill, AstraZeneca, Unilever, and others to establish Liverpool as a global leader in biologics innovation and manufacturing. You will co-lead Work Package 2 (WP2) on biomanufacturing feasibility, immunocompatibility and formulation stability, liaising across universities and industry to deliver key objectives.
Responsibilities
* Be integral to the Immunocompatibility Group, working under supervision to align WP2 deliverables with broader group objectives, and collaborating with the National Measurement Laboratory and other senior researchers.
* Engage with PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and technical staff to facilitate knowledge exchange, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to a collaborative research environment.
* Liaise with BRITE Work Package leads and the Programme Director; represent WP2 at BRITE Steering Committee meetings.
* Deliver key programmes of work, shape direction, and manage resources and staff in line with a Grade 9 role.
