Overview
We are seeking a passionate scientist, holding a PhD in oncology, immunology, neurobiology, or a related field, eager to transition into a strategic role at the crossroads of marketing, scientific communication, and business development. Reporting to the Marketing & Communication Director – Life Sciences, you will act as the marketing and scientific lead for your segment. You will work closely with the marketing team, the sales team, R&D teams, and our external partners (agencies, designers, freelancers).
Responsibilities
* Segment development & management: define the segment-specific marketing strategy in close collaboration with the Marketing Director and Head of Pharma, implement action plans, monitor performance, and prepare reporting.
* Content creation: scientific and marketing materials such as PowerPoint presentations, sales arguments, technical sheets, brochures, white papers, and specialized articles.
* Scientific & regulatory watch: track research advances, identify trends and innovations in your therapeutic areas.
* Scientific communication & outreach: transform complex data into clear, engaging messages adapted to different audiences (sales teams, clients, conferences).
* Sales support: train sales teams, create sales tools and educational materials.
* Inbound marketing: manage web pages related to your segment, write articles and optimize SEO, contribute to traffic growth and lead generation.
* Events & webinars: prepare content, scripts, presentations, and ensure follow-up after events.
* Business growth initiatives: lead targeted actions to attract new clients and drive revenue growth in your segment.
Qualifications
* PhD in oncology, immunology, neurobiology, or a related field.
* Strong scientific background and ability to keep up to date with therapeutic area developments.
* Initial experience (internship, postdoc, or employment) in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO (ideally in marketing, business development, or scientific communication).
* Excellent writing skills and ability to simplify complex information while maintaining scientific rigor.
* Strong oral communication skills in professional settings and during presentations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
* Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) is a plus.
Languages
* Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
* Proficiency in French is a strong asset.
