Intro
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join our London real estate team. Working alongside senior partners, you will act on complex, high-value real estate investment and development transactions. The ideal candidate will have significant transactional experience in commercial real estate–including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, mixed-use developments and investment-driven work. You will advise both domestic and international clients, including private equity, institutional investors, fund managers and property sponsors.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.
* Advise on large-scale mixed-use developments, from structuring through to completion.
* Handle significant leasing matters and pre-letting arrangements.
* Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
* Work closely with clients (private equity, institutional investors, fund managers) to understand their goals and protect their interests.
* Coordinate with other practice areas (finance, tax, regulatory etc) and with internal teams to deliver seamless service.
* Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development activities.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2-4 PQE experience in commercial property/ corporate real estate.
* Proven track record advising on investment, development and leasing work, especially mixed-use projects and high-value deals.
* Experience working with institutional/ private equity clients preferred.
* Excellent negotiation, drafting and structuring skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance risk with client objectives.
* Effective communicator and team player; leadership experience or potential.
* Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple complex matters simultaneously.
