The project:Our client is a professional services organisation with global corporate real estate (CRE) operations. Mace is one of the strategic industry partners with a specific remit for an independent project management office (IPMO). The client’s vision for the IPMO is that it will represent the client across all CRE towers and with key internal stakeholders. The IPMO responsibilities will include driving the client CRE strategy, assurance delivery and compliance, performance management, planning and capital management, commercial management, design and engineering standards, implementation of a suite of digital tools.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Designing and implementing PMO frameworks.
2. Managing project controls across commissions.
3. Partnering with clients and teams.
4. Assuring cost, schedule, risk governance.
5. Managing baselines, change and reporting.
6. Providing expert insight and assurance.
7. Managing, mentoring and resourcing teams.
8. Enabling net zero delivery outcomes.
You’ll need to have:
9. Proven PMO and project controls leadership on complex construction and infrastructure programmes.
10. Expertise establishing PMO frameworks, governance, assurance and digital reporting solutions.
11. Strong stakeholder influence, commercial acumen and collaborative leadership aligned to Mace behaviours.
12. Degree-qualified, professionally progressing (APM/RICS/CIOB/ICE), with strong sustainability and net zero awareness.
