We are recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer / Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing business specialising in the build of bespoke industrial machinery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working from electrical drawings, wiring schematics and visual assembly instructions, taking ownership of both panel wiring and machine build activities.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of specialist machinery, with a primary focus on control panel wiring, electrical installation and machine assembly.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Control panel assembly and wiring from electrical drawings and schematics
2. Wiring machinery and associated equipment
3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and visual work instructions
4. Mechanical assembly and fitting of machine components and sub-assemblies
5. Installation of pneumatic components and systems
6. Testing completed assemblies using provided procedures
7. Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks
8. Supporting continuous improvement activities within production
