A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Parts Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Design processes and tooling to produce parts
2. Assist with Contract Reviews and Quote procedures
3. Lead and project manage part validation process
4. Lead improvement initiatives
5. Preparation of technical projects
6. Reduce non value added waste and part costs
7. Collaborate with customer design departments
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
8. 8D, FMEA, FAIR, Rapid prototyping SLA, SLS experience
9. Working knowledge of CAD/CAE.
10. HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
11. Working knowledge of CAD/CAE
12. Good working knowledge of simulation modelling software
