The School and Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Liverpool. This full-time position is set to begin in September 2025 and will continue throughout the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and imaginative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork, and self-expression through performance and exploration of theatrical techniques. The school values the arts and offers excellent facilities and opportunities for creative enrichment.
Requirements
The desired Drama Teacher will have:
1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
2. Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 levels
3. A strong understanding of drama theory, performance, and production
4. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
6. An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
