VELUX Commercial (VC) is a new division in the VELUX Group, established in 2019 and comprises the former JET, Vitral, VELUX Modular Skylights and COXDOME organisations. Today, VELUX Commercial operates as one company with more than 1100 people in 13 countries and offers to support building professionals throughout the entire process from specification to delivery and maintenance of daylight and ventilation solutions for industrial, commercial, and public buildings.

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Offering Management Advisor (Glass Systems). This role is for three days per week (22.5 hours). We are flexible on the working days, which can be discussed and agreed during the interview process. We are open to the successful candidate being based at either our site in Blyth, Northumberland, or our offices in Glenrothes, Fife.
The Offering Management Advisor plays a key role in delivering customer excellence by preparing accurate quotations or estimates, processing orders, and managing communications across a wide range of customer types and large glazed rooflights. They maintain CRM records, support sales administration, and ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
What you’ll do
* Collaborate closely with all VELUX Commercial colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to delivering Customer Excellence.
* Prepare and issue accurate quotations, estimates and sales orders for large glazed rooflights in a timely manner.
* Maintain and update customer records and interactions within the company CRM system to ensure data integrity and visibility.
* Manage incoming and outgoing communications (phone calls, emails, and postal enquiries) from various customer types including Partners, Dealers, Architects, Main Contractors, Installers, and internal VELUX colleagues.
* Respond to customer enquiries with complete and accurate information on the first contact or escalate with all relevant details to internal or external sales teams.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to pricing, order processing, and customer communication.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform any other duties reasonably required in support of the role and team objectives.

Essential criteria
* ‘A’ level education (or equivalent).
* Highly organised and self-disciplined with excellent planning skills and the ability to focus on the right things at the right time.
* Ability to develop, grow and maintain professional working relationships at all levels (within and out with the Organisation).
* Strong computer literacy skills; Microsoft Office Packages.
* Ability to effectively communicate with and manage key stakeholders expectations within a global matrix organization.
* Robust and resilient attitude towards challenges and affecting and implementing change.
