Blackburn, a large reputable manufacturing company. Immediate start available, permanent role.

Job purpose:
To act as the key liaison between customers, Area Sales Managers, internal departments, and production facilities from initial enquiry through to delivery of finished goods. Responsible for providing accurate, timely information to customers regarding orders, deliveries, and related enquiries.


Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer enquiries received via phone and email, ensuring they are processed promptly and accurately.
* Manage both new and existing customer orders, working closely with planning, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure on-time delivery.
* Coordinate artwork requirements from the initial brief through to customer approval and final product release.
* Deliver excellent customer service by responding quickly to enquiries and complaints, gathering and sharing all necessary information.
* Work with Technical and Quality Control teams to resolve customer complaints effectively.
* Maintain and update customer pricing files and related documentation.
* Use internal systems extensively to input, amend, and monitor orders from receipt through to invoicing.
* Provide customers with stock availability details and proof of delivery as required.
* Coordinate cost recovery for originations, obsolete stock, and labels.


Experience and Skills Required

* Proven experience in sales account coordination, customer service, and order processing.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Highly organized, confident, and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.


Desirable

* Experience using SAGE software (advantageous but not essential).
* Comfortable adapting to process changes in a dynamic work environment.
