Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term‑time only)
Weekly Pay: £500 – £600
Start Date: September 2025

The Role
Looking for your first step into the world of education? A lively and welcoming primary school in Watford is searching for a graduate to support children in their Nursery and Reception classes. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a hands‑on role in helping young learners (ages 3–5) grow in confidence, develop key skills, and discover the joy of learning.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, and during one‑to‑one sessions
* Assisting with phonics, reading, early writing, and maths activities
* Helping to plan and run engaging, play‑based lessons
* Encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and wellbeing
* Supporting classroom routines such as snack time, playtime, and lunchtime
About You
We’re looking for someone who is a recent graduate (all degree subjects welcome) and friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children. A great communicator who can build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues. Considering teacher training, SEN specialism, or a career in child development. Experience with children is desirable, but not essential.
