Searcys are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to work within one of our City based venues.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working closely with the Hospitality Head Chef on a wide variety of events including private dining and canape' functions.
As a Senior Chef de Partie at Searcys your main role would be to assist with the production of fine dining dishes, buffets and canape creation. If you like the excitement and variety that comes with events rather than producing the same menu each day then this may be the role for you. This is a great opportunity for a work life balance as we are working Monday – Friday and during the day, however we do sometimes have evening events.

Overtime paid over 40 hours
Responsibilities
12. Prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times
13. Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times
14. Communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary
15. Collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation
16. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area ensuring equipment is in good working order
Qualifications
17. Proven experience working in a Chef de Partie role or similar role
18. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
19. Strong understanding of food safety practices
20. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
21. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
22. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
