Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Orpington Location: England, Greater London, Orpington Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans Providing one-to-one support to SEN students as required Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions Education: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable Experience: Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the UK education system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting SEN students Working Conditions: Work primarily within a school setting Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for additional training and development opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
