Deputy Manager – Luxury Retail, Flagship Concession

About the Role
Our client, a globally recognised luxury brand, is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Deputy Manager to join their flagship concession in one of London’s most iconic department stores. As part of the senior management team, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, leading and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be equally confident on the shop floor, coaching your team, and behind the scenes, managing operations and ensuring the seamless running of the concession.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of 17, ensuring high engagement, strong performance, and consistent delivery of exceptional client service.
* Partner with the General Manager to drive business growth, implement strategic initiatives, and maximise sales opportunities across multiple product categories.
* Oversee all aspects of concession operations including stock management, HR administration, payroll, and visual presentation standards.
* Ensure client relationships are nurtured and expanded through personalised service, effective use of CRM tools, and clienteling strategies.
* Maintain operational excellence by aligning front and back-of-house functions, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with brand policies.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
* Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend action plans to achieve and exceed targets.

* Significant experience in a leadership role within luxury retail or a high-profile service environment.
* Proven track record of managing and developing teams to deliver outstanding results.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse business performance and identify growth opportunities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust with both customers and colleagues.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
* Impeccable personal presentation, aligned with luxury brand standards.
