The Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our busy Service Department as a Trainee Service Advisor. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the automotive industry, supported by structured training and development.
You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, acting as the link between our customers and our workshop team in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all customers
* Accurately capture and document customer requirements and concerns
* Carry out vehicle walkarounds and support with service inspections
* Clearly explain recommended work and service requirements
* Prepare and communicate accurate cost estimates
* Schedule service and repair appointments efficiently
* Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed on time
* Maintain regular communication with customers, ensuring satisfaction throughout their journey
About You
* Previous customer service experience and drivers licence is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
* A proactive approach with good problem-solving abilities
* Basic IT skills for system use and record keeping
* An interest in the automotive industry (knowledge is advantageous but not essential)
