What's involved with this role: Job Title: Neighbourhood Services Coordinator Ref: K&C 5263184 Pay rate: £23.20 per hour PAYE Hybrid working – four days in the office and one day working from home. An Enhanced DBS is required for this role The role: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Neighbourhood Services Coordinator to join the team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services to residents living in council-owned and managed properties, embedding a ‘resident first’ culture. Acting as the single point of contact for tenancy-related matters, anti-social behaviour, and communal area issues, you will ensure residents receive a responsive and coordinated service. Key Responsibilities: Provide a joined-up service by working collaboratively with other teams to address service standards, including repairs inside properties and communal areas, representing tenants and leaseholders where needed Establish strong partnerships with caretaking, income, repairs, social services, and other teams to deliver a whole-person approach to resolving resident issues. Identify and support tenants struggling to maintain their homes or those at risk of abuse, neglect, or safeguarding concerns Develop and implement estate action plans to improve the environment, reduce ASB and environmental crime, involving relevant agencies such as the Police, Community Safety, and Environmental Services Respond promptly and effectively to reports of anti-social behaviour, ensuring compliance with ASB policies and maintaining regular communication with residents. Participate in estate inspections alongside caretaking teams, ensuring identified issues are followed through to resolution Conduct property viewings and sign-ups Respond to Members’ enquiries, MPs’ enquiries, and written correspondence within agreed timescales, ensuring responses are clear and professional What the client is looking for: Knowledge of housing legislation and landlord duties Experience delivering services to social housing residents Proven track record managing ASB for social housing tenants Previous experience of working with support services (social care, mental health) with safeguarding awareness Excellent customer service and collaborative working skills Familiarity with local authority roles and responsibilities Experience liaising with councillors and MPs How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
