Calibration Engineer / Customer Support Engineer - UK Wide \n\nCalibration Engineer required to join a measurement specialist to provide technical support and on-site service, calibration, installation and commissioning of metrology equipment.\n\nMy client is seeking someone based local to Gloucester to work as part of their 4 person service team, covering the whole of the UK and, when not on the road, working at their Gloucester facility. They are open to considering people with any calibration experience as they can provide product training, however, all candidates must have electro-mechanical experience. \n\nThe Package:\n\nSalary - £30,000-£40,000\n\nCompany van for professional use\n\nBonus Scheme\n\nWorking Hours - 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nPrivate medical\n\nThe Role:\n\nProvide on-site Service, Calibration, installation and commissioning of equipment\nPerform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.\nPerform in-house calibrations and repairs when necessary.\nProvide high level support to external customers at their location.\nProvide on-site training to customers.\nInterface with cross functional work teams such as applications, customer support/services/sales and marketing.
\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nHNC/HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar.\nWorking knowledge and ability to test and troubleshoot electrical circuits.\nIt would be advantageous, although, not essential, to have experience in the service and calibration of measuring equipment e.g. CMM's, Shadow graphs, height gauges and vision systems.\nFull valid passport with no travel restrictions & full valid UK driving license.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
