What is our Clinical Nurse role?
This position under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s), practices as a Clinical Nurse in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board registration Standards and Nursing Practice decision making flowchart. The position provides advanced, comprehensive, and evidence-based nursing care to patients and their families, as part of a multi-disciplinary team; upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork, and Integrity; and acts as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition, and collaboration.

Area Profile
Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) offer a maternity unit at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) which provides obstetric care to women with low to moderate risk pregnancies. Women may choose to receive care at OPH for general convenience whilst receiving equally specialised care at a small, suburban site. We offer a full range of support services including Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Lactation Consultants and Dietitians.
