The role
As an Employment Associate in Glasgow, you’ll manage a varied caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, with a strong focus on acting for employers.
Your work will include:
* Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and redundancy
* Supporting clients through disciplinary and grievance processes
* Handling TUPE and large-scale restructuring projects
* Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including advocacy where appropriate
* Providing commercially focused HR and workplace advice
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting wider team initiatives and business development activity
About you
This role would suit an Employment Solicitor who:
* Has circa 2–6 years’ PQE in employment law
* Has experience advising employer clients on a range of workplace issues
* Is confident handling Employment Tribunal litigation
* Demonstrates excellent drafting skills across pleadings and advisory documents
* Can manage their own caseload while contributing to team success
* Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients
* Has a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Is interested in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
* Has good commercial awareness and delivers pragmatic advice
